SprayMax 2K Rapid Clear Coat
2-component clear coat with very fast drying time, very high chemical, petrol and weather resistance for high-quality, long-lasting sealing of repairs and new paintwork on cars and motorcycles. Particularly suitable for spot repairs.

Technical information
Application:
- Spot repairs and partial repainting.
- Solvent- and water-dilutable base coat systems, old paintwork dried, sanded and cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
Activating 2K can:
- Shake the can thoroughly for 2 minutes before triggering.
- Remove the red push button from the cap.
- Turn the can 180° and place the push button on the pin in the base of the can.
- Place the can upside down with the cap on a firm surface
- Press the red trigger button with the heel of your hand until it stops
- After triggering, shake the can thoroughly again for 2 minutes.
Spraying application:
- 1-2 coats
- Approx. 20μm per spray pass
- Flash-off time between spraying passes: 5-10 minutes, depending on temperature
Drying times:
- 20°C dust dry: 7 min (dryness level 1 DIN 53150)
- 20°C touch dry: approx. 1 h (20μm)
approx. 2 h (40μm)
(dryness level 3 DIN 53150) - 20°C polishable: 8-9 hours
- IR drying recommended
Processing time:
- 14 hours at 20°C room temperature. The processing time depends on the ambient temperature. Higher temperatures result in a shorter pot life, lower temperatures in a longer pot life.
Gloss level:
- 85 E at 20°C measurement geometry
Coverage:
- Approx. 0.5 m² – 0.75 m² / spray can at approx. 40 µm dry film thickness
Notes:
- For professional use only
- Personal protective equipment must be worn (respiratory mask type: A2/P2 protective gloves, e.g. made of latex or nitrile)
- After finishing the painting process, turn the can upside down and spray the valve until empty.
- Dispose of empty spray cans as recyclable waste
