SprayMax 2K Acid primer

Application:

• Insulation of sanding marks as part of car repair painting

Substrates:

• Steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, hardened 2K fillers, old paintwork

Pre-treatment:

• Remove loose rust. Sand substrates and degrease thoroughly. Only paint on dust-free and dry substrates
• Shake the can thoroughly for 2 minutes before use
• Remove the red push button from the cap. Turn the can 180° and place the push button on the pin in the bottom of the can
• Place the can upside down on a firm surface with the cap on. Press the red trigger button with the heel of your hand until it stops.
• After triggering, shake the can thoroughly again for 2 minutes.

Spraying:

• 1–2 coats. Allow 5 minutes between coats. One full coat corresponds to a dry film thickness of approx. 15 μm
• Spraying distance: 10–15 cm

Drying times:

• The following drying times refer to an ambient temperature of 20 °C.
• Dry film thickness: 1 spray coat approx. 15 μm; 2 spray coats approx. 30 μm
• Dust dry: (dry stage 1 according to DIN 53150) 1 spray coat 10 min; 2 spray coats 25 min
• Recoatable: 1 spray coat 10 min; 2 spray coats 25 min

Further processing:

• After dust dry, recoat wet-on-wet with standard 1K or 2K acrylic fillers
• CAUTION! Do not overcoat with water-based paints or 2K EP primers. Do not rework with 2K UP filling materials

Processing time:

• Approx. 96 hours at 20 °C

Notes:

• For professional use only.
• Personal protective equipment must be worn Respiratory mask type: A2/P2
• Protective gloves, e.g. made of latex or nitrile
• After finishing the painting process, turn the can upside down and spray the valve until empty
• Dispose of empty spray cans as recyclable waste
• Shelf life: 36 months
