SprayMax Spray filler

Application:

• Spot repairs and partial repainting

Substrates:

• Steel, galvanised steel, various plastics (PVC, PPO/PA, ABS, PC/PBT), wood, hardened 2K fillers
• Not suitable for plastic substrates made of PE, PP, PP blends (e.g. PP/EPDM) and polystyrene (e.g. Styrofoam)
• Not suitable for aluminium substrates. Prime aluminium substrates with Kwasny SprayMax 1K Filler Primer, for example.

Application:

• Remove any loose rust, sand substrates with P180 – P240 sandpaper, clean and degrease
• Shake the can thoroughly for 2 minutes from the audible sound of the shaking balls. Test spray. Spray distance: 10–15 cm
• Spray coats: 2 x (= 80–90 μm), intermediate flash-off time: 5 min

Drying times:

• Drying times at approx. 80 μm dry film thickness and 20 °C
• Dust dry: 7 minutes
• Touch dry: 15 min
• Sandable: 40 min
• Final air (20 °C): 5 min
• Flash off (50% power): 10 min
• Fully cured (100% power): 5 min
• The specifications refer to a short-wave IR emitter

Further processing:

• Wet or dry sanding with P400 – P500 sandpaper
• Can be painted over with standard solvent- and water-based paints as well as 1K and 2K top coats. Do not use 2K UP filler.

Notes
