Auto-K fibreglass mat is a dense and strong fibreglass material with high resistance and is ideal for repairs to parts subject to high vibration (e.g. mudguards) and for large areas of damage.

Properties
Application
- Repairing and bridging rust holes, cracks, holes or cavities in car bodies, caravans, boats and containers or similar objects.
- Ideal for parts subject to high vibration (e.g. mudguards) and large areas of damage.
- First, thoroughly clean the repair area with Auto-K P60 sandpaper (coarse) to remove rust, paint residue and grease.
- Then sand and spray on Auto-K corrosion protection primer.
- Mix the required amount of Auto-K polyester repair resin with approx. 2% hardener.
- Lay the cut fibreglass mat flat on a solid surface (e.g. Resopal or glass) and apply the repair resin mixed with hardener generously with a spatula.
- Coat the repair area with the mixed repair resin as well.
- Place the fibreglass mat on the damaged area and press down firmly with the spatula tool.

Drying time:
- 20-30 minutes
Notes:
- The fibreglass mat should be cut to size so that the edges of the repair area are covered by at least 2 cm all around.
- After the drying time, smooth out any remaining unevenness on the outside of the sheet metal with Auto-K filler.
