Work Steps:

Design

Create the zebra pattern design. Mark the lines on the tank with masking tape.

Masking

Cover all areas that should not be painted. Precise masking is essential!

Airbrushing

The zebra pattern is applied using an airbrush and stencils. Each line is sprayed by hand—precision work!

Details

Fine details and transitions are hand-painted. Allow each layer to dry before the next.

The Artwork

Now it gets artistic! The tank receives its unique zebra pattern. This requires a steady hand, patience, and experience with airbrush technique.

Pro Tip

Practice the pattern on cardboard first. Each zebra stripe should be slightly different—that’s what makes it look natural.

Jetzt wird es kreativ! Die Kawasaki Drifter bekommt ein einzigartiges Zebra-Design per Airbrush.

Diese Technik erfordert Übung und künstlerisches Geschick – aber das Ergebnis ist atemberaubend!

Der Airbrush-Prozess:

Design planen

Skizzen anfertigen, Muster festlegen. Bei Zebra-Streifen: Natürlich oder stilisiert?

Basislack

Die Basislack ist bereits aufgetragen. Für Zebra-Look: Weiße Basis.

Schablonen & Freihand

Streifen werden teils mit Schablonen, teils freihändig aufgetragen. Jeder Strich muss sitzen!

Verläufe & Details

Die Airbrush-Pistole ermöglicht feine Verläufe und realistische Effekte.

Achtung

Airbrush erfordert viel Übung! Für Einsteiger empfehlen wir: Erst an Übungsstücken trainieren, bevor es an wertvolle Teile geht.

Profi Tipp

Bei aufwändigen Airbrush-Designs: Zwischenschichten mit Klarlack sichern! So kann man Fehler korrigieren ohne das gesamte Werk zu zerstören.
